Karate Neo & Karate Morpheus

Unreleased Figures (Scheduled release was Fall 2001)

Notes: Neo and Morpheus, in their martial arts uniforms, were scheduled to be part of Series III of N2 Toys Matrix toy line. The two figures would have been sold on one blister card as a two pack. However, the figures were never produced due to the bankruptcy of N2 Toys.

From the pictures above, it seems that these would have been the first six-inch Matrix toys to have articulation at the wrists.

A Note on Names: Different sources refer to these figures as either "Martial Arts" or "Kung Fu" versions of Neo and Morpheus. However, the prototype packaging refrred to the figures as "Karate Neo & Karate Morphues".

Weapons/Accessories: These figures may have come with bases, so that they could hold their martial arts stances without falling down. (I am almost positive I saw a picture somewhere of the two figures with black bases and a metal rods for support).
