05.Nov.2003 - One Year of Matrix Unloaded
November 5th will, no doubt, be remembered by Matrix fans everywhere as the day "Matrix Revolutions" came to theaters--at the exact time everywhere around the world.

But November 5th holds another special meaning for me. Coincidentally, November 5th is also the One Year Anniversary of this website.

Matrix Unloaded may be only a year old, but it has been an idea of mine since 1999. Howver, college kept me busy and I actually didn't start creating this site until June 2001--right after I finished school.

But, as the Merovingian said, we don't have time. My full-time job, teaching and freelance work (all web design) kept me busy, and I did what I could on this site before giving up on it in June of 2002.

Thankfully, my friend and roommate Dave "Agent Gibbons" convinced me to resume working on this site, and I finally launched Matrix Unloaded on November 5, 2002. Since the launch, over 115 Matrix items have been added to the site, which has been visited over 150,000 times. Myself and this site were featured on Fox News Chicago (TV) and in San Francisco's Contra Costa Times Newspaper. We have contributed photos and content several times to an action figure magazine in France. And, I have made some friends and aquaintances from around the world who share my passion of all things Matrix.

So, thank you Dave (www.Blind-Monkey.com), for not letting me give up on a cool idea. And thanks to all of this site's visitors, and the kind folks who email me compliments and encouragement. Finally, I have to thank Jeff Springer (www.SpringerSite.com), for thinking up the cool title "Matrix Unloaded", which is so much better than my original idea.
